ATTN: High School Senior Class Travelers for 2022…In today’s world, travel insurance is the number ONE thing you should buy before traveling. One could need trip insurance for several reasons. Maybe you have an ill grandparent and the future is unknown. Maybe you aren’t so careful when it comes to your baggage, so keeping a close eye on your things isn’t likely. Or maybe you were voted “most clumsy” in your class, and you are bound and determined to get yourself that extra medical protection during this trip. Whether you’re in need of Cancellation Protection or Extra Medical Expense Coverage, our Travel Insurance has got you covered!
Is Travel Insurance Expensive?
With our Travel Insurance, you pay a small price for a great amount of coverage! We are just talking a few dollars per day.
No need to worry though, at Student Adventure Travel, we’ve got your back when it comes to trip/travel insurance and protection. We’ve recently just partnered with Travel Insured International and their wonderful team, so we can offer you all you need to get the ball rolling with all of your travel insurance needs!
What Is Travel Insurance?
Travel Insurance is that extra security against any accidents or issues that may happen while on your trip. It will provide you with coverage for situations like: if you get sick or injured on your trip, reimburse you if your flight gets canceled, or if a family member dies and you need to go home. It’s protection against those emergencies that can come out of nowhere and cost you dearly if you are not prepared.
Our Student Deluxe Travel Insurance Package offers a large range of coverage from things like:
- Baggage/Personal Effects
- Trip Interruption
- Accident Medical Expense
- Sickness Medical Expense
- Trip Cancellation
- Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation
- Non-Insurance Worldwide Emergency Assistance Services
- and so much more!!
Plus, new for 2022 students, our Cancel For Any Reason Policy (not valid in the State of New York)! This new Cancel For Any Reason Policy (CFAR) is a great optional add on for coverage in case of unexpected instances. For example, this past year’s events would be a great reason to get the CFAR policy. As COVID-19 struck our nation, it seemingly attacked the travel industry as well. All travel was put at a stand still and several people were left wondering what would happen in regards to trip refunds. To help protect you against any sort of travel cancellation outside of the standard Trip Cancellation included in the Student Deluxe package, adding on the Cancel For Any Reason would be the way to go!
Why Buy Travel Insurance?
As a traveler, it will give you peace of mind knowing that if you do get sick you do not run the risk of potentially racking up medical bills, stressing over a lost wallet while at the resort destination or if your bags get lost or stolen, at least I know you haven’t lost everything.
With Travel Insurance, you have someone to call that can help you in case some sort of emergency arises and you’re at a loss on what to do.
What About Our Company’s Standard Tour Participant Agreement?
Please understand you are signing up as a group when you book with us…All payments will be made as GROUP PAYMENTS by the participating groups/schools with checks as invoiced. These payments are not refundable. Due to the amount of labor & resources expended on planning, marketing, implementation of the trips with vendors / school districts, and other group items we invest massive amounts of hours by our staff in order to get your trip to fruition. Student Adventure Travel could never withstand an entire group cancellation. Therefore, there are NO REFUNDS of these group payments. Just as every travel company, we do offer an individual travel/cancellation policy that each student can instigate in case of an issue if they did not buy the above mentioned trip and travel insurance. Our Tour Participant Agreement is travel industry standard and offers an individual to receive a refund with cancellation fees. Written notice is required with student’s name, group name, date of travel, destination of travel and date of communication, receipt date is the date used in any refund calculation. Individual cancellation fee with written notice at 121 days out or more from departure is $115 per person; within 120 days, $155 per person; within 90 days of departure $205 per person; and within 45 days of trip departure no refund is possible.
To recap: …to recover a portion of or an entire group cancellation fee, you can purchase TRIP INSURANCE that could cover that expense at a very reasonable cost. If you choose that direction, we have plans that can help you to make that cost even less.
If your group is interested in including our recommended travel insurance onto one of our group travel packages, be sure to fill out our Info Request Form or email info@beachbreaks.com. Happy Traveling!
